Having bought tens of millions of dollars of loose gemstones (mainly diamonds) during his career, Clive Hill brings more than 22 years of experience in all commercial aspects of the diamond and jewelry industry to WD Lab Grown Diamonds.
Most recently, he served as CEO of Fraser Hart, an award-winning chain of British retail jewelers with 30 locations. Hill’s vision and management skills grew the business to more than 20 times its original size, making it one of the most professional, admired and successful jewelers in the U.K.
Hill earned his bachelor’s degree in computer science from the University of Edinburgh.
Chief Financial Officer
With more than 22 years of experience, Haufler brings a lengthy record of driving ongoing growth for area companies ranging from leaders in information technology to financial services and planning. He most recently served as CFO of Datablink, an innovator in user authentication technologies.
Other previous positions include CFO at RapidAdvance, a Maryland-based financial services firm, and vice president of finance at SkyTerra Communications when the company went public and was later sold with a valuation in excess of $1 billion to Harbinger Capital Partners and subsequently became LightSquared.
He holds degrees in finance and marketing from Boston College.
Chief Technology Officer
With 15 years of engineering experience, Yarden Tsach is responsible for establishing and optimizing the production process of high quality diamond crystals in the WD Lab Grown Diamonds plant just outside Washington, D.C.
Previously, Tsach was an external project manager in the solar energy division at Siemens in Bet-Shemesh, Israel. He also held managerial positions in Tower Semiconductor, Jordan Valley Semiconductor and Trace-guard Technologies.
Tsach received a master’s degree in material engineering from the Technion in Haifa, Israel where he was a student of Professor Dan Shechtman, winner of The Nobel Prize in Chemistry .

Livingston is a corporate finance specialist with more than 20 years of experience and more than 100 transactions under his belt.
He focuses on institutionally backed and owner-managed businesses, where his understanding of key value drivers and processes underpin his transactional expertise. The vast majority of Livingston’s transactions have involved buying from or selling to the private equity community, where he is known for his straightforward and practical approach.
Livingston cut his teeth at private equity giant 3i and now heads up Smith and Williamson’s Mergers & Acquisitions team, based in London.
